To provide an all-encompassing and sustainable model of independent advocacy based on the belief that everyone has the right to be heard, have choice and control and to be safe from violence and abuse.

Our Mission

To ensure a clear voice for vulnerable adults through the provision of effective and inclusive independent advocacy based on the principles of equality and fairness; and tailored to meet the expressed and implied needs and wishes of each individual.

Our Values

Independence

We are constitutionally, financially and psychologically independent from conflicts of interest with all statutory and other service delivery agencies.

Empowerment

We promote service-user involvement, empowering each individual to play as full a part as possible in decisions about their care, service provision and lifestyle choices.

Accessibility

We provide services which are free at the point of delivery. We operate Equal Opportunities and Diversity policies with the aim of breaking down any barriers that restrict an individual from accessing independent advocacy.

Confidentiality

We respect the confidentiality of our clients.

Accountability

We recognise we are accountable to both our clients and those who commission our services. We ensure that external monitoring and evaluation of our services takes place at least every three years. A robust and accessible complaints procedure and regular reporting to funders are integral to our operation
